We Will Stand With You

My Letter From Christ

I will not ask how you are doing today and I will not ask how your faith is because I know. I know you do not know the purpose the Lord has for you yet, the outside that people see you feel is a mirage. You smile, laugh, and make friends with all that cross your path. There is still a saddened heart with so much love to give. You have built walls and you sometimes forget what is said in scriptures that have been spoken loud and clear of when you follow me. Deep down you know you are no longer lost, but sometimes you feel like you have been forgotten. You try to still be all that others want you to be. You have improved in that part of your life, but a part of you still feels like you on a day to day basis fall short for the one that shed his blood for you. When you rise you still feel as the sun breaks through the morning clouds that you have not done enough, and you have not done the best you can for Him. You know nothing is accomplished unless it passes through his hands. The d...

Sowing Seeds ~ Reaping What We Sow

As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.   Luke 8:15 I have never been much of a Gardner; I just do not have a green thumb. I do pretty good with some plants though. I have several green plants in my home and they have managed to survive! The past few months I have no doubt this is where the Lord has been talking to me the most and that is paying more attention to what I plant. The Bible says God will harvest the seeds we plant in time. “In time” Let’s think about this, when we actually plant a seed in soil it does not pop up overnight it takes time to grow right? Okay lets think about the verse up there in Luke 8:15 it starts out stating “in the good soil” starting out we have to have a good foundation for the seed which is we have to have good soil in order for the seed flourish and produce a good plant.   I think what God is telling us is that we have to have good solid founda...

Running God’s Race

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 When I was a little girl I loved to ride horses, I was three the first time my little legs were thrown over a saddle.   My first horse was a small horse, my sister and I shared her together. She fit our experience which at that time I did not have much she was gentle and not that big. As I got bigger and a better rider and trained in how to ride, my horse got bigger as well as my saddle. I learned the horse, her habits, and she learned mine. We were a team and when I would get in an open field I would tap her sides and she knew I was ready to go, she knew it was time to run and she was to run, and run, and run. That moment to this day I can remember like it was yesterday! It was a simple moment in time, the wind on my face, her mane flowing like strawberry red ribbons. Her nostrils flaring, her ears laid back she meant business and so did I as I squeezed even harder my legs into her stoma...

Walking in God’s Path

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing. Philippians 2:14-16 This world can be a dark and twisted place and the rules of the world seem to change like the wind, and sometimes we feel like a leaf count in it. No control over what is happening around us or to us and sometimes we never know where we are going to land. This is the way it feels, and this is exactly the way Satan wants you to feel. Our emotions can be dangerous to us if we allow them. Satan is here in this world and he is waiting for us to be in an emotional state that clouds our minds and judgment. This is not a good place for us to be and we have to be receptive of it because if we do not we will step out of God’s path and his protection. We wi...

Can I Trust God?

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ. Philippians 4:6-7 I remember the first day I met my husband it was love at first sight! He was just adorable! And right off I knew something not of this world had a hand in having our paths cross. To make a long story short as time went on we went through the dating process, got engaged, moved in together, and got married. I know…I know that living together should have been eliminated. But at that time we were young and had no idea the depths of the sin we were committing. But our relationship was a work in progress and it was not easy! It took a lot of dedication getting to know one another, habits, becoming receptive of each other needs, dealing with probl...

Finding God (In Your Moment of Pain)

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3 Who on this earth can say they have never had a broken heart? If they say they have never felt the pain of a broken heart they are not being honest. When the heart breaks no one can hear it, you feel it, and feel it deeply. There is some one that does hear it….God He not only hears it loud and clear but He too feels it deeply. We all can say yes, I have had a broken heart, but each one of us has a different story to tell on how it was broken. The most painful ones are the ones from those that are the closest to us. Family has been on the top of the list for the most pain that someone can cause. We all know the story of Joseph in the Bible all too well. I think this is one of my most favorites in the Old Testament. Joseph was hated by his brothers, so much in fact they threw him in a hole and left him there to die. He was sold into slavery by The Midianites in Egypt to Potiphar, the courtier of Pharaoh. Step by step of...

Spiritual Warfare

Luke 8:11-12, Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.  I am sure many have played board games, whether it is more than one player or several. What is the point of playing? Someone will be deemed a winner, the point of games? "Self" some play games for entertainment, some will play for the sheer joy of a challenge. These are games in the flesh, games in the spiritual, are games that many play with others lives, their livelihood, and maybe for the sake of there on image. Pride is on the top of the list as to the reason Satan fell and fell hard. These games are very dangerous because they are the games of Satan. There is an old saying pick and choose your battles, and it is true. You have a choice; you choose what is of God and what is of Satan. Satan can steal the word from the willfully hardened heart. Satan ...
